Performance
Powering the new Trax is a 137-hp turbocharged 1.2-liter inline-three-cylinder engine, a six-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive isn't even an option. With its single powertrain, the EPA estimates the Trax to get around 28 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.
Design
Every angle of the Chevy Trax is impressive, from its sleek, thin headlights to its beveled doors and curved taillights extending slightly to the side of the model. The interior is also impressive, offering ample space for four and a dash angled toward the driver, giving the passenger side a more minimalistic appearance. The Trax also has a longer wheelbase, resulting in additional rear legroom and cargo space.
Technology
Every Trax model is loaded with tech for passengers to enjoy. In the LS and 1RS trims, an eight-inch touchscreen is standard, and in higher trims, an 11.0-inch display with an eight-inch digital gauge cluster is offered.
